[cite_start]The current justice system is failing on three fundamental fronts[cite: 660, 663, 669]:
[cite_start]KOA proposes a Justice Augmented by AI: a system where the machine handles the analysis to ensure speed and neutrality, while humans retain ethical oversight[cite: 660, 674].
"A just decision must be an explainable decision."
We reject "Black Box" algorithms. The KOA Justice System operates on a strict Explainable AI (XAI) mandate. Every recommendation made by the system must include a generated Audit Trail citing the specific laws, precedents, and evidence weights used to reach the conclusion.
Why AI is Less Biased than Humans
Critics fear "biased algorithms." We argue that Human Bias is the harder problem to solve. A human judge might give a harsher sentence because they are hungry, tired, or unconsciously biased against the defendant's accent.
An AI does not get tired. It does not have "moods." By rigorously sanitizing the training data and removing demographic metadata from the decision logic, we can create a judge that is truly blind to everything except the law.
